INFORMATIONS about Alpine Enduro Series powered by SANTA CRUZ

Here's a brief overview of the schedule you can expect at each of our events of the Alpine Enduro Series powered by SANTA CRUZ.

Friday:
Friday is the relaxed start for the races of the Alpine Enduro Series powered by SANTA CRUZ. A optional training of the stages of the weekend is possible before the prologue in the late afternoon is about the starting order for Saturday. The participation is not mandatory - if you don't have a time in the prologue, you can simply start further back in the field on Saturday.

Saturday:
A whole day on the best enduro trails of the respective regions. In the morning, the first stages are on the programme. Afterwards there will be a lunch snack on the lap before further stages are to be completed in the afternoon.
In the evening all drivers meet to finish the day with dinner and a relaxed atmosphere.

Sunday:
On the second race day, which lasts until about noon, perfect enduro trails are waiting for the participants once again. The starting points of the stages are reached by lift and/or bike - followed by the evaluation and the award ceremony. Then it will become clear who has found the best lines as an individual rider or in a duo team.

  • Participant limit: The number of starting places per event is limited to 380 (50% each for the solo categorie and for teams of 2 (Women/Men/Mixed). For the Kronplatz there is a limit of 300 starting places!
  • These starting place contingents are initially reserved for four weeks. If the contingent in one of the two categories has not been exhausted after this period and there is a higher demand in the other categories, the contingent can be adjusted accordingly.
  • Rating solo driver: There is a timing station per stage; at the end the details are cumulated and result in a total time.
  • Teams of two (DUO): The time of each rider per stage is measured. However, only the time of the SLOW rider in the team - on the respective stage - counts for the evaluation for the team. These times are added together to give the TOTAL TIME for the team. That means: It is not determined in advance who is driver 1 and who is driver 2, but always the time of the slower driver on the stage counts.
  • Starting order: On Friday a prologue is arranged to determine the starting order. Participation in this prologue is not mandatory. The participants start the prologue in the order of their starting number. For the two racer teams, the slower time will be taken into account. On Saturday the participants start in the order determined by the times from the prologue (fastest drivers first). All participants who did not take part in the prologue or did not achieve any time there will then start in the order of their starting number.
  • Protective clothing: The Alpine Enduro Series requires a full face helmet on ALL stages and all downhill transfers! Also a back protector OR a corresponding backpack with certified protector is mandatory. Further details see regulations.
  • Prizes: The winners will be honoured with trophies and material prizes, no prize money will be distributed.
